A fast, convenient and eco-friendly way to compost your food-scraps. Not only is it made in New Zealand, but this Hungry Bin is designed to process up to 2kgs of waste per day. All while making fantastic fertiliser and plant-food too!
The Hungry Bin Worm Farm works by creating an ideal living environment for compost worms that in-turn, converts organic waste into worm castings and produce a nutrient-rich liquid that can be used as quality fertiliser. Being tapered in shape, the bin uses gravity to compress the lower portion and drive the worms to move to the surface to access fresh 'food' on top. The castings are easy to handle and distribute over the garden as a fertiliser while the liquid can be used as a plant-superfood to really get things sprouting at your place!
Benefits of Hungry-Bin' worm-farming:
