Low Entry Rocker
The rocker is the banana-shaped curve between tail and nose when you look at the board side-on.
- a low rocker makes it easier to maintain speed going straight
- easier to paddle faster
- makes surfing smaller waves easier
Single Concave Board
Concaves are nearly invisible channels on the underside of the board that affect the waterflow.
- a single concave typically allows for improved flow and therefore more speed.
EPS Foam Core
EPS is Expanded Polystyrene
- a lightweight and buoyant material
XPE Deck
- a foam with a tight cell construction that minimises osmosis
HDPE Slick Bottom
High density polyethylene
- reduces drag, enhancing speed through the water
- helps the board retain its shape after flexing
Triple Stringer
A surfboard stringer is a narrow strip of wood embedded in the board to add stiffness.
